Aus IDentities was originaly developed to meet a growing need for improved practices in the classroom that would ensure our children have the best opportunity to find their true potential in life. It also has the added benefits of assisting the teachers to address some of the core issues in the classroom by looking at strategies for dealing with the four different types of students. The end result is a better behaved class, less stress and improved outcomes!
Teacher’s Program
Objective: Learn how to apply the tools of Aus IDentities to your classroom.
Target Audience: This program is recommended for all teachers, teacher aides, lecturers, tutors, librarians and counselors working in the area of education and development.
Delivery: A one or two-day interactive program that gives you a clear understanding of temperament theory and how to apply Aus IDentities to your classroom or place of work. It also comes with a detailed Facilitators Guide. Excellent for PD sessions and Pupil free days (The two days do not have to be consecutive).
Outcomes: This training gives participants the knowledge and authority to run all aspects of the Aus IDentities program through their schools. You will no longer have to rely on consultants or trainers visiting your organisation to run the program for you, as we cover a variety of uses for the program over the two days. A practitioner certificate will be provided on successful completion of both days of this program.
Classroom Facilitation
An Aus IDentities Facilitator will come to your school or class and direct students through an interactive and fun workshop to help identify their natural learning styles and preferences. Programs can be tailored from 2 hours, to a half or even a whole day. Only available for ages 7 and above.
Career Path Indicator (for grades 10 and over)
A half day workshop on how to choose the correct career path. While this program is normally facilitated by one of our trained professionals, the materials are also available for purchase through our web-site for teachers and career guidance professionals who have been accredited by us in this system, or who have previously been trained in the area of career identification using psychometric testing tools.
Adventure Training
Working in cooperation with adventure training specialists, we take groups of students and/or teachers out of the classroom and engage them in a series of facilitated activities that are designed to bring out the best in them. This is a opportunity to develop future leaders and help the more unruly students to moderate their behavior.
Leadership Awareness
While it is great to know and understand the personalities of our students and clients, it is also of great benefit to understand the people that we work with. This half or full day program identifies the core personalities of your group or team and helps you to understand what each person brings to the classroom or workplace. This program is not just for leaders, but is also great for helping to bring out and develop future leaders. In collaboration with the Beacon Foundation (a national not for profit organisation), we have delivered several of these programs to grade 11 and 12 students around the country with excellent results.
